Lockhart Catering Equipment Provides Sneak Peak of What to Expect at The Catering Innovation Show
Lockhart Catering Equipment, part of the Bunzl Catering & Hospitality Division, has revealed more about what to expect at its debut exhibition – The Catering Innovation Show. Taking place at London’s Business Design Centre on Tuesday 28th of October, the show will feature a series of exciting live demonstrations from Michelin-star chefs, and panel-style discussions, whilst bringing together over 70 leading brands across light and heavy equipment.
For front of house, attendees will be among the first to learn about exciting product launches, such as Blue Ice Machines’ new Cupp Express unit on Stand 48. Designed to help operators tap into the growing demand for bubble tea, this three-in-one appliance streamlines preparation with the ability to have three different flavours of bubble tea on tap to cater to high-volume traffic.
On Stand 22, ADI will showcase elegant tableware from across their Zwiesel Glas, Schott Zwiesel, and Fortessa brands. Now available in the UK, the US-favourite, Fortessa is renowned for use by leading 4 and 5 star hotels. Visitors will also be able to see ADI’s new MOVE ultra-fine, machine-made stemware.
Lifetime Brands will be highlighting new pieces from its Artesà serveware brand, including two, three-tier afternoon cake serving stands, a two-tier black metal serving stand with removeable shelves, and a brass canape tree – all of which create the ideal backdrop for tapping into the increasing demand for small bites and elegant serving. From Lifetime Brands’ tea and coffee specialist collection, La Cafetière, guests can expect stylish new teapot sets, a new hygiene-led French press, and the new Gyro Spinning Infuser Teapot, which transforms a simple cup of tea into an immersive sensory experience to align with the growing experiential trend.
Bolero (Stand 35) will present stylish, on-trend commercial furniture designed to combine aesthetics with long-lasting durability. Built to withstand heavy use, Bolero’s timeless designs suit venues from cafes and hotels, to restaurants and offices alike.
Equally versatile in venue compatibility, Lincat (Stand 68) will be showcasing a selection from their diverse portfolio spanning front and back of house cooking equipment, food display units, hot holding solutions, beverage machines, and kitchen ventilation systems. Visitors may also learn of an exciting new product launch coming soon.
For operators seeking customised serving solutions, CED Fabrications (Stand 19) will highlight its range of Glide customisable, modular, servery carts – offering refrigerated, heated, and ambient modules alongside ancillary features for workflow, hygiene, and visual appeal.
Similarly, Catertherm will be launching three new products at the show; HAL – Heat and Light Lamps, SRC – Heat Lamp with Straight Retractable Cord, and their Hybrid Thermobox, which enables caterers to heat or cool food in the same versatile chamber. Find them on Stand 2.
Mitchell & Cooper (Stand 17) will be presenting a range of innovative, high-performance catering solutions for front and back of house, including exclusive UK access to Dito Sama’s Prep4You tabletop food processors and vegetable slicers, with Export Manager Pierre on stand to offer expertise and delicious samples. Mitchell & Cooper’s own manufacturing brand, Bonzer, will feature the new Bonzer Elements front-of-house displayware range – handcrafted wooden stands, bowls, and risers – alongside the industry-leading Bonzer Can Opener, now available in the sleek Black Classic R design.
The Catering Innovation Show will also be a great opportunity for caterers to bag themselves some great deals, exclusively available for attendees. For example, Lumea (Stand 60) will be showcasing an impressive array of over 100 varieties of lamps, and will be offering 50% off when bought with a pack of liquid box candles.

Likewise, Bolsius Group (Stand 53) will be displaying their range of Bolsius Professional speciality hospitality candles. Setting the right atmosphere can encourage guests to stay longer, prompting further drink and dessert sales. Bolsius will be offering visitors free samples of their long-lasting, Relight candle, as well as exciting exclusive promotions. The Relight candle burns for up to 30 hours, making it an extremely cost-effective alternative to traditional tealights, averaging approximately £0.03 per hour.
On the back of house side of things, storage, preparation, and cooking equipment has also been tailored to address wider industry trends.
With sustainability remaining a top priority for operators, many product launches at the show will cater to the demand for improved efficiency – such as Blue Seal’s (Stand 48) new Electric Water Bath Char Grills, Full Area Zone Induction Ranges, Electric Solid Top Ranges, and E33D5 Turbofan Convection Oven. These new additions join Blue Seal’s extensive Evolution and Cobra ranges, and place sustainability and efficiency at the fore of their design.
On stand 27, MKN will debut its new Optima range alongside the FlexiChef and SpaceCombi, focusing on multifunctional, efficient cooking solutions. The stand will also highlight MKN Steel Plus and the brand’s commitment to reducing both embodied and operational carbon across its portfolio.
Valentine (Stand 18) will be introducing its new Core Smart Fryer and FT Connect, alongside its high-performance fryers and pasta cookers, trusted by chefs worldwide for their engineering excellence and dependability.
Caterers working in smaller kitchens where space is at a premium may wish to prioritise concise equipment solutions, such as Fagor’s new Kompact iKORE Combination oven. Just 520mm wide, this model is the only compact oven operating with boiler-generated steam, providing chefs with the complete control, consistency, and flexibility of a full-size, top-end combination oven, in miniature.
Fagor will also be showcasing their new iNOVA range of warewash machines on Stand 30. With both undercounter and hood variants, this series guarantees brilliance every time. Both the iNOVA and iKORE ranges have only recently launched, so The Catering Innovation Show will be the first opportunity for caterers to view them in person in the UK.
Visitors will be able to see Adande Refrigeration & Synergy Grills in action on Stand 64, where the two brands will demonstrate how precise cooling and variable-temperature cooking can work in perfect harmony. Live demonstrations will feature Adande’s A+ energy-rated HCR1 Chef Base and VCS1 Variable Cooling Drawer paired with Synergy’s versatile 900 Griddle, showing how chefs can move seamlessly from perfectly chilled ingredients to expertly grilled results in a single workflow.
Williams Refrigeration (Stand 37) will demonstrate some of the UK’s most energy-efficient refrigeration solutions, including the A+ rated Jade counter, Amber cabinet, and hinged-door Multidecks – all offering significant energy savings without compromising on performance, reliability, or style.
Visitors looking to save prep time can stop by Robot Coupe on Stand 36 to see a selection of its renowned food preparation machines, designed to help kitchens reduce labour while maintaining consistency and quality.
Microwave specialists, RH Hall will be on Stand 20 to spotlight the best-selling Sharp Commercial Microwave Oven range, and the Maestrowave Microwave range which incorporates the latest technology and iWave® Automated Foodservice Solution – ideal for speeding up service while maintaining quality.
Also helping to streamline preparation is Metcalfe Catering Equipment’s new Pacojet 4 (Stand 40). Perfect for sorbets, ice cream, farces, mousses, soups, concentrates, doughs, and more, the pacotizing® process intensifies flavours and preserves colours of ingredients while processing frozen foods into micro-purees in one step without thawing.
Another specialised solution comes from BOTINKIT. Abbreviated from Robot in Kitchen, BOTINKIT works in tandem with AI to address the persistent issue of staff shortages through a new innovative Auto-Wok. With the capability to slash back of house costs by 40%*, this digitalised cooking method could revolutionise the catering industry. The company will be performing live demos throughout the day on Stand 49.
On Stand 9, Victorinox will display professional-grade knives including the Dual Grip – crafted with precision and stability in mind. For caterers prioritising HACCP compliance and hygiene, Victorinox’s NSF certified professional knives are colour and QR-coded to clearly differentiate between food groups. Similarly, the Swiss Classic Colour relaunch will see bold new colours that are dishwasher safe. All of which are built for comfort in busy kitchen environments.
On the subject of comfort, WearerTech will be on Stand 26 to showcase its range of safe, comfortable, and sustainable footwear. The catering specialists had tailored their footwear specifically for people who spend long hours on their feet in hospitality settings.
